When is GST registration compulsory?

Registration is compulsory once aggregate turnover crosses the threshold for your state and type of supply, and in any case for inter-state supply of goods, e-commerce sellers and some other categories. GBA checks your case against the current limits before applying.

What is the penalty for late GST returns?
